Lorraine Armstrong Lyons (nee Fuller)
It is with profound sadness the family of Lorraine Armstrong Lyons nee Fuller announces her passing. Lorraine went to the Lord peacefully on Monday January 2, 2017 after a brief illness. Lorraine leaves her daughters Carolyn Bailey (Fred), and Pamela Armstrong Duprey (Christine), her granddaughters Alana, Rachel, Shayne, and McKenna, and her beloved dog Daisey. Special thanks to Lezlie who was her dearest friend, confident and supporter during her later years.
Lorraine’s legacy is one of love, laughter, kindness, generosity of spirit and compassion. She touched many lives as a caring and loyal friend, mother, and grandmother. Lorraine was a consummate bridge player who also loved to talk about politics and current events. Lorraine’s sharp wit was with her to the end as was her abiding love of her family, friends and dog.
A lifelong church-goer Lorraine’s faith was strong so the family is comforted by the reunion she must have enjoyed in Heaven being rejoined with her parents Mae and Morris Fuller, her beloved brother Gord and sister Audry, her close friend Addie, and many other friends, family and pets. Lorraine loved to dance and we have no doubt the celebration went into the wee hours. We don’t think you can get noise complaints in Heaven (or sore feet).
