Edward Arther  ‘Ted’  Pimm

May 5, 1931 – September 27, 2016

With great sadness we announce the passing of Ted Pimm on Tuesday September 27, 2016 in his 86th year.  He will be greatly missed by his wife of 60 years, Barbara, daughters Jeannine, Kerry Rajotte (Tony), Beverley Menecola (Lou), and Beth, his grandchildren Meagan, Scott, Brian, Jim, Claudia, Ben, and Ellen, and by his sister June LaRose (Lorie).

Ted was employed by Moore Business Forms for over 30 years. His job took him, and his family, across the country.  He was an active member of the Kinsmen Club of Kingston for 14 years, and twice served as President.

We will miss his sharp, dry, sarcastic sense of humour, inherited by his daughters.  He loved getting together with friends and family to blow the foam off a few.  He enjoyed a good joke and loved to laugh.  Ted recently rediscovered his bridge game and was happy if he brought home the $2 kitty winnings! He had a keen interest in the American Civil War and Abraham Lincoln.  There remains a pile of books on the subject yet to be read by his chair.  He was an avid arm-chair sports fan and was adept at watching multiple games at once.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.

Cremation has taken place.  Ted will be interred in Sanctuary Park Cemetery in Etobicoke, Ontario.
