Zachary Norman John Swiech
With great sadness, Zachary Norman John Swiech’s family announces his sudden passing on March 15, 2023, at the age of 35.
He is greatly missed by his loving wife Amanda and beloved daughters Akaida and Skyla. Zach’s immediate and large extended family were by far the most important part of his life. Amanda was his first and only love and he was incredibly proud of his girls.
Deeply missed by loving parents Deb and Rick Swiech and siblings Kari Swiech, Jeremy Swiech (Lauren), Lindsay Swiech Uhryn, Aimee Swiech (Sean), Kailey Swiech, Brodie Swiech (Victoria), Karleigh Swiech (Andy), and Braden Swiech.
Zach is sadly missed by Grandma Joan McRae (GG), his father-in-law Michael Perry, and his mother-in-law Tracey Perry. Loved brother-in-law to Breanna Perry (JR), Jenna Perry (Anthony), Haylee Perry (Matt), Adam Morin, Kendra Odber, and Noah Taylor. Also missed by other family members from the Sault Ste Marie area.
As the most beloved uncle Zach was always the first to offer to babysit when anyone in the family needed a babysitter. He will be tremendously missed by his nieces and nephews, Kristen, Alyssa, Dylan, Connor, Makayla, Ashton, Avery, Austin, Jaxxton, Alyvia, Colton, Kaleesi, Havyn, Sully, Nash, Tripp, Gabriel and Xavier. Zach will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Feeling a deep sense of loss is Zach’s lifelong friend Becky Thompson.
In addition to his love of family, Zach was a great athlete and had a passion for sports. With his father and brothers, Zach shared a love of watching and hopefully picking the winners in many different sports. He was a hard worker who was kind, caring and honest to a fault. Zach was the life of the party and would never miss a family get-together.
A private Celebration of Life in honour of Zach is being scheduled by his family. In lieu of flowers, donations in support of his loving wife and daughters would be greatly appreciated, and those donations can be made to the “Remembering Zach Swiech and supporting his family” GoFundMe page found at: https://www.gofundme.com/f/zach-swiech

Zach will be truly missed. Looked forward going to the house and helping him to do things and he learned to do.

My condolences to everyone isn’t even close to what I am truly feeling for each of you. I will remember how every time I saw Zachary, I was welcomed with his warm genuine smile and a conversation that was always centred around his family. You all were by far the most important part of his life! Love to all!
