Wayne Bauer of Tillsonburg, Ontario was called home to his Lord and Saviour on Saturday July 29, 2023. He passed away at the age of 72 at LHSC – University Hospital in London, Ontario.
Beloved husband of Barbara Bauer.

Cherished Dad of Scott (Tina) Bauer, and Angela Gaudin. Forever loved Papa of Alex Bauer (Treena), Austin Bauer, Caden Bauer, David Burkitt, and Sarah Hawkins-Burkitt.
Dear brother of Kathy (Jerry) Foisy, Linda (Jim) Ormston, Sharon (Henry) Foisy, and Tammie (Andrew) Foisy. Remembered by the Long Family, and by his many nieces and nephews.
Wayne was predeceased by his parents Arnold and Violet, and by his brother and sister in law Albert and Ellen Bauer.
In keeping with Wayne’s wishes cremation has taken place.

at Open Arms Church,
44 Tillson Avenue, Tillsonburg, Ontario.

My Thought and Prayers are with you Barbara, and to the family. Your husband was such a wonderful man. He was a great friend to my Wayne. I am so sorry for your loss. He will be remembered by myself as a kind and awesome man for his love of the Lord and for his love of family and music. I know in my heart he is in heaven making beautfiful music with my wayne.
Sincere condolences for the passing of Wayne. He will be missed but he is now in a better place no more suffering and will be back with family that have passed before him. Unable to attend as I am not feeling well today.
Wayne was one of the best men I’ve ever known. I’m so thankful that I got to learn from him and my dad what a good man/father truly looks like. I’m also grateful that I was able to spend these last several weeks with him and Barb, I feel so blessed having you in my life. I love you all. Wayne, I’ll see you again some day…in the meantime give my parents a big hug for me. Love you more ❤️ ❤️

I am incredibly sorry for the loss of uncle Wayne. He meant a lot to me & I have so many memories of him growing up. Many of my memories include the guitar and him singing, so much so that I had asked him to sing me down the aisle at my wedding. His health had took a turn, so we did chose an alternative route but asking him was so special to me.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers ❤️
