W. Nelson Eaton

In the early morning hours of Wednesday February 1, 2023, Nelson passed away peacefully at home.
He was in his 81st year and leaves behind his wife of 19 years Margaret (nee Berry), children, Joanne (Doug) and Tyler (Ann) as well as step children, Rick, Tim, Steve (Danielle) and Kathy (Malcolm). He will be missed by his nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He will also be sorely missed by his furry best friend, Toby.
Nelson was a Canadian Forces veteran and active in the Legion. He loved good old country music and his favourite place to be was at the trailer. He made his living driving truck for over 60 years.
Nelson’s family appreciates the support and condolences. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Oxford County Animal Rescue, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Woodstock Royal Canadian Legion are gratefully appreciated.

So sad to hear about Nelson. Such a wonderful fella , we enjoyed our thanksgivings together and all the laughs during camping. Our last visit would have been here at the farm where I can still hear him joking. Sending our love, we will hold you close in our thoughts
