  • Sorry to hear of Al’s passing. I remember Al from our football days at DSS and although I’d only see him in passing uptown in recent years he was still that salt of the earth individual I remembered him to be in our youth. A great loss and my thoughts are with you. Kirk Dewar

  • We’ve been away and are finally back home and just now hearing this sad news.
I want to express our deepest condolences to you and the rest of the family.
I know that Alan was a wonderful husband, father and thrilled about being a grandfather. He was such a good man and I am ever proud to be a part of his extended family! I have such fond memories of being kids together and all of our times during the summers and Christmases at the farm in Dunnville.
We have already made arrangements to come up in August for Alan’s memorial.
Sending prayers that you be comforted, a warm caring hug and all my love❤️
