It is with heavy hearts that the family of Terry James West of Stratford, Ontario announces his peaceful passing at the age of 64, on Sunday December 12, 2021.

He was the beloved son of the late Colleen West (O’Regan) and late Edward James West. Terry is survived by his wife Bernadette Maillet, his brother Edward, his loving children Marty (Melinda) West, Katrina (Rod) Eastman, and stepdaughter Emilie DeClark. He was the beloved “Papa” of Aaron, Levi, Caleb, Kieran, Chloe, Sadie and Alexandria. Terry will be dearly missed by his extended family and many friends. Terry was predeceased by his brothers David (Janet), and Timothy and his former wife Margaret McKay.

Terry worked in the food industry as a business owner and salesperson for over 40 years. Graduate of the George Brown College, he was a Red Seal Chef and past President of the Niagara Chef Association. He also used his chef skills as a volunteer for may charity events throughout the years.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held for close family and friends at a later date. Memorial donations made to Diabetes Canada are appreciated and may be made directly, or (by cheque) through Wareing Cremation Services, 225 Norwich Ave., Woodstock, Ontario N4S 3V8 who have been entrusted with final arrangements.
