1940 – 2023
Passed away peacefully at Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll, Ontario on Thursday May 11, 2023, with family by his side. Roland Phillips of Ingersoll in his 83rd year.
Survived by his daughter Sandra (Reinhard), son in law Doug, stepson Jack (Carol), brother Ralph (Linda), and sister Mary. Sadly missed by his nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Predeceased by his beloved wife Joan (2019), daughter Susan (2020), son Roland Jr. (2020), stepdaughter Suzanne (2014), stepson Mark (2012), brothers Garnet, Kenneth, Walter and Leonard, and sister Helen.
Roland had a wrecking yard business in Ingersoll, Phillips Auto Wreckers, which he enjoyed and operated for many years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting at Smokey Creek Camp.
We would like to thank the Team at Oxford Manor Retirement Home in Ingersoll for their excellent care over the years. We would also like to thank the palliative care team in Alexandra Hospital Ingersoll for their excellent care.
Cremation has taken place. 
A Celebration of Life will be held
on Saturday June 10, 2023,
from 1 to 5 pm,
at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 153, 
16 Durham Street, Tillsonburg, Ontario.
Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or VON Sakura House are appreciated.
