Robert 'Bob' Roose

Bob Roose, of Tillsonburg, Ontario, passed away on Monday September 12, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at the age of 83.
Bob was in Iowa celebrating with family and friends, where he had proudly walked his daughter down the aisle.  He was surrounded by family as they all said goodbye to the most wonderful, loving, caring husband, father and grandfather.
Bob was an amazing man who loved his family unconditionally. His love for Hilary was truly incredible and everyone who knew them could see that.  Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years Hilary, children Tracy (Joe) Konigshofer, Evan, and Megan (Kory Cousins), by his grandchildren Tamara and Tania, and his great grandchildren Rori, Shelby, and Colton Wallace.
Bob had a love for classic cars, and enjoyed sitting on the porch with his fur grandbaby and getting to know all the neighbours on Cornish Street. We were truly lucky to have him in our lives.
We will miss you every minute of every day. We know you are cruising about with the top down looking for the best fish and chips around!
Until we meet again...
Please join us as we Celebrate the life of Bob Roose on Sunday October 9, 2022, from 1 to 4 pm, at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, 16 Durham Street, Tillsonburg, Ontario.

  • When I reflect on the times when I entered into Bob’s presence, I am immediately reminded of his warm, genuinely caring welcomes. It was easy to feel at home in his presence without any judgement. I feel very blessed to have had Bob in my life as a teenager and into my married life. I miss him already, even though I haven’t seen him in years and live miles away. I look forward to a big warm hug in heaven 1 day. 😘
