  • Greetings from Edmonton. Our family is sorry to hear of Peter`s death. May memories give you strength. As a first cousin to Peter`s father, I knew Peter, Glenda, and family well. My parents, Emerson and Laurene Wein lived next door and the Wuerth children visited regularly to sample Grandma Wein`s cookie jar.

  • Leon and I offer our condolences to the Wuerth Family. Like all of you our hearts are hurting. Pete was so well loved. We met him about 13 years ago when Ryan (his youngest son) and Christine (our daughter) started dating. Pete and Glenda are wonderful people. We remember so well one of the first visits from them at our Pavilion in the bush and it was a huge hit, because Pete brought “pig tails”…..About every month, since retirement Pete would visit Leon in our shed and if he didn’t come then Leon would go to the big town of Crediton to see him. On Christine and Ryan’s wedding day Pete gave a speech. I found out later that was not the norm for him…But the thing that sticks in our minds is that he said there should a new Day announced and that should be “Friends-in-Law Day”….We will never forget that and how we met their wonderful family, Shannon, Bill, Butch and of course our son-in-law Ryan. Our thoughts are with you all and we hope your memories will guide you through this hard time in your lives. Thinking of you all.. Leon and Helen Coolman
