Patricia Jo-Anne Weatherhead
July 21, 1945 – March 7, 2021
Comfortable and content while holding her daughter’s hand, Patricia Weatherhead (nee Durfey) of Woodstock took her last breath and made her final journey to be with her lost loved ones father Lorne Durfey, mother Joan Durfey, brother Brad Horning and loving partner Barry Callihou.
She will be missed by her sons Andy Weatherhead (Nancy), Mark Lajoie (Medrie) and her daughter Jenny Weatherhead (Matt) along with her nine grandchildren Drew, Aly, Alex, Tyler, Teagan, Addi, Emilee, Victor, Rowan and dear nephew Mark Gauvin. Patricia is survived by her three sisters and her nieces and nephews.
Following Pat’s wishes there will not be a celebration of life, but her close family members will gather to scatter her remains in her favourite spot, with Barry.
Family members wish to thank the nurses and staff at LHIN Transitional Unit, Caressant Care (Woodstock) and the doctors and nurses at Woodstock Hospital, especially nurse Annette and future nurse, Jesse in the palliative care unit.

I am so sorry to learn of your Mom’s passing. She fought such a battle. I have fond memories of Pat from being in the Legion Ladies Auxiliary with her. Met Tyler and Teagan on different occasions when she would bring them in on Thursdays for lunch. My deepest condolences to all of your family. Cherish all the wonderful memories she has left with you all. Rest in peace Pat.

Dear Andy, Jenny, Mark and family, please accept my sincere condolences on the death of your Mom, Pat. As first cousins of the same age we spent some happy times together during my family’s visits to Woodstock. I remember her as a strong, lively and pretty young woman, and in particular, one very fun afternoon rollerskating at the arena there. May your good memories and love of each other bring you peace and comfort and joy.
Sorry to hear of Pats passing. I grew up next door to the Durfeys when they lived in Woodstock. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
