Marina Smith

Marina left to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday January 26, 2022.

Loved wife of Allan Smith.  Allan called Marina his Angel and she will always be that to him.  The last 58 years she and Allan have been inseparable. They loved each other very much and were a true example of what a loving marriage should be like. Always praying together and showing affection to each other.

Cherished Mother and Nana of Darren and his wife Karen Smith and their sons Scott and Ethan; Karen Vens (Smith) and her sons Noah and Bryson; Cristal and her husband Dennis Saunders and their children Dawson Saunders, Amy Saunders, and Victoria Saunders and her Fiancé Talon Strittmatter.  Great Grandmother of Alice Stritmatter.

Marina's entire family loved her beyond words, and pray for God’s guidance and peace to get through the weeks to come.  Always thinking of those in need, she spent her last Christmas making 28 meals for her Community. Marina will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Allan and his family want to express a sincere “Thank You” to the ICU Staff at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital for all that was done to make Marina comfortable. They set up a video chat so the family could say goodbye and they held her hand when we couldn’t be there for her.  We especially want to thank Meghan and Adam for all they did to help communicate with Marina that we loved her.

We want to thank everyone for their condolences and prayers over the last few weeks. Prayers came from across Canada and the States as Marina was loved by so many people in the church and was there to pray with anyone anywhere at the drop of a hat.

We love you Angel Mom

We will see you soon.
