Margaret 'Meg' Zwikker

Meg Zwikker (Moss), born December 4, 1955, passed away on May 29, 2023 surrounded by those who love her most.
She will be celebrated everyday by her husband of 49 years Al Zwikker, her twin boys Scott Zwikker (Jaclyn), and Dave Zwikker (Cara), and her daughter Keri Colley (Chris). Her grandchildren, Zoey, Eva, Taylor and Lauryn have been so blessed by their time with Grandma and she would say the same about them. Meg is predeceased by her parents Pearl and Jack Moss.
She loved and cherished her big family and will be missed by her siblings Jacqui Moss, Kerry Smith, Mary Vermeersch, Mark Moss, Paul Moss, and John Moss, along with many nieces and nephews, and friends made over her lifetime.
Meg had a zest for life unlike any other. She navigated a difficult journey with strength and grace and was an inspiration to those who knew her. She was passionate about helping others decorate their homes, not only because she was good at it, but because it made her so happy to see others enjoy it. She always thought of others first.
Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Woodstock Hospital who took such good care of Meg in her final days, as well as the wonderful Home Care staff. There will be a private Service at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with a Celebration of Life at a later date. In Lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or London Health Sciences Centre.

  • Dear Keri. I was so sad to hear of your mom’s passing. She fought a very big fight in her short life here on earth. Cancer may have taken her body from you, but I am certain that she will live on in you and your girls. Take care of yourself. Maybe we will see you sometime at Annette and Scott’s.

  • I feel so lucky to have known Meg. She had a zest for life that was inspiring. She liked the finer things, but could turn basic things into something special (I’ll always remember the salmon sandwiches with sweet pickles and chips that she made for lunch when we worked together).

One of the best trips Paul and I had was with Meg and Al in Vegas.

Meg’s keen talent for design transformed our home into a place I love and as I look around, I see Meg everywhere…she will always be with us.

She was a woman of few words, but when she said something you listened and believed.

I could go on and on with how wonderful she was, but everyone who knew her knows that. My heart goes out to the family who know that Meg wants them to all live their best lives.

Rest in peace dear Meg. Your spirit is with us…until we meet again.

  • We are so sad that Meg has lost her battle. She lived her life with grace and dignity and unselfishly shared her passion and expertise of home design with her family and many friends bringing so much joy and contentment to everyone. Meg’s zest for life and enjoying the simple things made it so easy to spend time with her. Although we will miss her so much, we were so blessed to have had her in our lives. ❤️
