Lawrence W. Chatterson

June 28, 1947 – January 17, 2021
Regrettably, Lawrence Wesley Chatterson ‘Chops’ has surrendered his body due to COVID 19, in his 74th year. He leaves behind his wife Patricia Ann (nee Parsons), of 47 years; they were the best of friends. “I am leaving in a puff of smoke” following his wishes for cremation. Larry leaves behind his son Lawney (Charity), and son Chad. He will be sadly missed by his granddaughters Brianne and Cara, and grandson Gregory. Brother of Donald (Marlaine), and Debbie Price (Ron Park). Brother in law of Bob (Jeannette) Parsons, Cathy (Mark) McRae, and son in law of Robert (Donna) Parsons. Predeceased by his parents Lawrence Edgar (1999), and Pearl Erie Chatterson (nee Smith) (2008).
It was a great run, starting as an Auto Mechanic and finishing in a factory where injuries caused me many years of pain and suffering, but family and friends stood behind me.
A Celebration of Life, in party style, will be held when it is safe to do so. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. If times are tough, please just say a little prayer instead.
“This isn’t goodbye, we will meet again, catch up, and reminisce about better times.”

Dear Pat and Family:
Our deepest sympathy upon learning of Larry’s death. We were aware of his ongoing health issues- sorry that he became a victim of Covid. Our annual picnic provided the opportunity to keep in touch with Larry and your Family- that was prohibited by the pandemic this past summer. Thinking of your Family and wishing you comfort and peace as you grieve your loss made more difficult during this restrictive time.

My memories of Uncle Larry. As a young child, I remember calling him Colonel Sanders because his short white beard and hair reminded me of him. Uncle Larry was always there to lend a hand if needed. Whether it was rushing with Dad to get to help Kristen who fell off her bike on our bike ride with Lawney and Chad, or last year when he drove Ella to her school in Woodstock because she missed the bus. Uncle Larry was a good man with a big heart and he would always great you with a smile. ❤️❤️ RIP Uncle Larry ❤️
To Aunt Pat, Chad, Lawney, Charity and Brianne, Gregory, and Cara, Debbie, Don, and their families. My heart is with you all.
