To Jim and family my deepest sympathy for your great loss. I didn’t know she had had passed away. I tried to keep in touch and today being Mother’s Day, I thought I would reach out to her. Was I shocked. May she now Rest in Peace , free of pain….til we all meet again old friend…..Pauline McTaggart and Ron MacGregor …..
We will miss Joan’s cheerfulness and her laughter and our many interesting conversations. Joan is in a better place now and has been freed from her terrible ordeal.
Our deepest sympathy,
Bev and Kurt.
Dad;
As Mom declined I began to see why she always referred to you as her “hero”. Your care and commitment to her were inspirational. But it was your enduring love story that captivated me, and others who knew you.
I will always love and remember Mom. She was a giving, vivacious, genuinely happy person who was a joy to be with until the end. And she was a fighter.
Now that she only lives on in our memories, my focus is on you. I wish only happiness for you as you recollect times with her, forge new friendships, and treat yourself to a much deserved breather. Sleep in, visit neighbours, travel when the spirit moves you. And know that you are loved and appreciated, not just for what you were to Mom and did for her, but as a remarkable person in your own right.
I love you, and I’m looking forward to this new chapter- however it unfolds and whatever it brings.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you all on the loss of Joan. May your memories bring you comfort during this difficult time. Condolences, Tara, Ted & family
