Gudrun Roux

Gudrun Beate Roux (Aszmies)
It is with heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Gudrun passed away peacefully at Sakura House in Woodstock on Monday March 13, 2023 at the age of 67.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters Suzette (Lloyd) Hatfield, Tina (Daniel) Baker, Cheri (Trevor) Acton, ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two brothers, countless extended family members and many friends.
Gudrun was born in Germany on April 29, 1955 and immigrated to Canada at the young age of 3. She grew up in the Aylmer area and later moved to Woodstock where she raised her family and retired after 40 years at Firestone Textiles. She will always be remembered for her strong will, witty sense of humor and her immense passion for gardening.
Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Sakura House in Woodstock would be appreciated and may be made directly or, by cheque through Wareing Cremation Services, 225 Norwich Ave., Woodstock who have been entrusted with Final Arrangements.
Your messages of remembrance and personal condolences may be shared here at wareingcremation.ca

She will forever live in our hearts.
Until we meet again Mom.
