  • We share in your sadness Margaret, Tanya, Jeff and Lois in the physical loss of your husband, father and brother. The Harris family was a part of our family. They lived around the corner from our house. Both Tanya and Jeff baby sat our two girls when our girls were young children. Fletcher touched all of our hearts with his gentle and generous spirit. I ( Dave ) worked with Fletcher at 3M in
London for over 20 years. I always remember how calm he could be even in the most stressful situations. I can’t say that I ever knew anyone who didn’t like Fletch 😁 During a shift at work when I was running around trying to get things under control, Fletch always seemed cool, calm and collected ! He was so patient, almost to a fault. If you ever spoke to someone who didn’t know Fletch very well, you could always say, “ he’s the giant who walks around with a 2 Liter bottle of Coke “ and they would laugh and know exactly who he was. Lol… I always enjoyed talking to him about anything. To me, Fletch was a positive difference maker. He was genuine and you felt that he really cared about you. He made and left us with a better world ! He was taken away from us too soon. His passing makes all of us left behind wanting to live a better life that would make him proud of us. He made me a better person. I will miss him; we will miss him. If I didn’t tell you I loved you, my friend; I hope that you knew it. Your friend, Dave

  • Our deepest sympathy and condolence to Margaret and family, on the loss of Fletcher. Margaret no words can explain the sadness at this time of hardship. The photo of Jesus Christ, our Saviour, that you gave to me at St. John’s Anglican Church, was framed and on my office wall. Lee and I have said a prayer to him that Fletcher rest in peace. God Bless his soul. Lee & Paul B. Woods

  • A big guy, both in stature and in personality. I worked with Fletch in the research lab as I started my first job. Because of that outgoing personality, he seemed to know everybody and was the custodian of information that significantly eased my way along. I fondly remember his work ethic, along with a six pack of some sort of cola, and a package of cigarettes nearby (those were the days). One of the treasures that grew from his friendship was an introduction to Marg, whose artistic talents continue to brighten the walls of our home.
Please accept our condolences on his passing
