Ed & I are sending out to all of you our heartfelt sympathies and love. May all the fond memories you have of Doug bring you comfort and give you strength to carry you. His memories will keep him close & always at heart. I have many fond memories of Doug over the years. He was always joking about Cathy & I, the two of us when we got together, just shaking his head. So glad I got to see him last Friday and he left me with a special gift on that day, a pleasant memory of him! Doug was happy and being his silly self, cranking me about how I haven’t changed in the forty sum years he’s known me. I knocked on the car window to say good bye to him one more time before he left and I can still see his smile. RIP Doug and I know you’ve probably already found a lawn mower up there and are cutting someone’s lawn or your looking for a good car race!

We met Doug and Cathy 5 years ago when we moved to Tillsonburg. They are not only neighbours but good friends. We spent many fun afternoons on our patio or on their front porch. Doug became Chris’s golf buddy and they had great times on the golf course. Doug was warm and friendly and we will miss him very much. We want to express our sincere condolences to Cathy and all the family. RIP dear friend.
