Donna Marie Quinn
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a beautiful Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt. Donna Marie Quinn gained her Special Wings on Thursday September 2, 2021 at the age of 68, after a short battle with cancer.
Donna “Donut" was born in Ingersoll, Ontario on August 14, 1953. She was predeceased by her loving parents Donald Petrie (1997) and Helen Petrie (Knights) (2012).
Loving Mother and best friend of Robert ‘Bob’ Sr. (Sarah) Donna was an extremely devoted Nana and will be missed by her grandchildren Bobby Jr. And Emily. Dear special Friend and Companion of Wilburt Eggett.
Big sister of Daniel ‘Bunk’ Petrie (Sue), and Shelley Hughes (Glenn). Sister-in-law and great friend of Vicki Petrie and friend of Patty Quinn. Remembered by her many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Donna’s memories will live on in the heart of her lifelong friend Judy Sommers (Chambers).
Predeceased by her husband and friend Robert Harley Quinn (2007), eldest brother David Petrie ‘Petrox’ (2020), Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Donna worked her whole life, from farming to industrial cleaning; she was a jack-of all-trades. Donna had a love for Hummingbirds and Baltimore Orioles. She loved drinking beer and fishing with her family up North. Donna loved kicking back and relaxing after working hard. She loved listening to music, dancing and just enjoying life. Family was very important to her. She was a loving caring sister "Sis". Donna will be greatly missed.
Cremation has taken place and there will be small private graveside ceremony at a later date.
The family wishes to express a special “Thank You” to the staff at VON Oxford Sakura House and CarePartners for all of their care and support. And thank you to all family and friends who helped Donna during the end of her Journey.
Donations for Donna can be made to VON Oxford Sakura House or the charity of your choice.

A friendship that started in high school turned into sister-in-laws and friendship forever. Now she has gone to join her brother, my loving husband. May you both rest in peace. Although, you both may be gone, you are never forgotten. Always in our hearts!! Love you both xoxo
