Catherine Scott Kerr

Catherine ‘Rena’ Scott Kerr of Woodstock, Ontario passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 8, 2021, at the age of 91.

Predeceased by her husband William Kerr. Our loving Mother leaves behind her children, Cheryl (Wayne), Lynn (Brian), Michelle, Gary (Carol), Karen (Ron), and Theresa.  She was a wonderful Nana to her 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Predeceased by her parents, her sister, 1 grandson and 1 great grandson.

Catherine loved life and people and showed it everyday in everything she did. She will be missed by many friends, some of whom thought of her as their mother. She was a volunteer at the Royal Canadian Legion in Woodstock along with being a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She loved her family, dining out, travelling the world, reading, watching sports, and sewing was her passion.

In keeping with Catherine’s wishes cremation has taken place, and there will be no service. The family will hold their own private memorial.  A special “Thank You” to all that cared for her in the past few months. Memorial donations to your charity of choice are appreciated.  Wareing Cremation Services, 225 Norwich Ave., Woodstock entrusted with final arrangements.  Messages of condolence may be shared at wareingcremation.ca

Rena was a very involved person with the Legion holding many chairs during her active time, she was truly missed. She was hands on and gave proper direction to those that needed help. Rena was a very compassionate person. Sorry for the loss.
