CAROLE EDDY

November 29,1939 - July 16, 2021

With saddened hearts the children and grandchildren of Carole Eddy announce her passing on Friday July 16, 2021 at 7:50 am.

Carole was predeceased by her parents George and Ruth Lane, and older brother Byron.  Survived by her sister-in-law Inge.

Carole was a banker, school bus driver, and a receptionist in her working life.  But her most important role was being the Mother of Michael (Laura) Eddy, and Michelle (Chris) Rennie, and the loving Nana of Melanie, Marlee, Abby, Geordan, Ruthie Grace, Mikaela and Mya.  Although she wasn't able to get on the floor to enjoy her great grandchildren, Lyra, Max, Laney and Sterling brought repeated smiles each time she saw pictures or was able to see them in person through the window.

Mom's pleasant personality endeared her to many. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and work colleagues that called her Friend.  Mom's last few years were spent in the loving care of the nurses and PSWs at Secord Trails in Ingersoll and at Woodingford Lodge Woodstock.

Cremation has taken place.  The family is planning two Celebrations of Life.  We will receive friends and family on Saturday July 24, 202, from 1 to 4 pm, at 52 Crow Cres., in Woodstock, Ontario.  Then, there will be a Graveside ceremony and interment on Saturday July 31, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Bolton, Ontario.

Wareing Cremation Services, 225 Norwich Ave., Woodstock, Ontario (519-290-5575) was entrusted with final arrangements.  Your messages of remembrance and condolence may be shared at wareingcremation.ca
