Brian David Osmond

 April 18, 1950 – September 27, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Brian Osmond, in his 73rd year, at home in Ingersoll, Ontario.

Loving husband of Mary (Nichols) of 52 years. Cherished father to Rob (Dawn) Osmond and Patricia (Leroy) Blancher.  Grandfather to Kyle (Sherry), Savannah (Dylan), Landon, Ben, Grace and Mason.  Great grandfather to Sawyer, Jaina and Georgia. Survived by his brother Murray (LouAnne), sister Mary, stepbrother Joe and stepmother Donalda. Predeceased by mother Edith, father Douglas, and brothers, Bill and Merv.

Brian enjoyed a lengthy career at Oxford Milkway Transport in Woodstock.  He was very handy and could fix anything; he built their first family home from scratch just outside of Innerkip where he was raised.  Brian was most proud of buying the family farm near Holbrook, building a family home to raise their children, and tending to his hobby farm.  Brian enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time in the outdoors. He was past president of the Country and Western Music Club Woodstock and a member of the Ontario Sheep Farmers.

Brian enjoyed travelling through Canada and the US in the RV with Mary and their two dogs Murphy and Abby. He especially enjoyed the warm winters in Florida. The highlight of his travels was recently spending three months in NWT and the Yukon.

In keeping with Brian’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A private family reception will be held in memory of Brian on October 8, 2022 from1 to 3 pm. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated and may be made directly, or by cheque through Wareing Cremation Services, 225 Norwich Ave., Woodstock, Ontario who have been entrusted with Final Arrangements.
