Brenda Bolton

Brenda Maureen Bolton (nee Louch) passed away peacefully on June 12, 2023 at the age of 77 at Sakura House Hospice, Woodstock Ontario.

Beloved wife of the late David Bolton. Loving Mother of Kristie (Scot), Andrea (Ian), predeceased by daughter Tracy (Darren).  Nana to Jordan (Brandon), Emma, Brooke (Brady), Morgan (Brennan), Carter, and Gavin.  Sister of Dr. Robert Louch (Judy); sister-in-law to Stewart (deceased) and his wife Joyce, Ron (deceased) and his wife Mary Jo, Marion Fitzgerald and her husband Ron, and George and his wife Audrey.  Brenda will be missed by her nieces and nephews and many close friends  

Brenda graduated from Woodstock General Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse in 1967; beginning her nursing career at St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital shortly after and she remained there until her retirement in 2000. 

Brenda had several passions that kept her busy including her gardens, golfing at Sally Creek, cheering her grandchildren on during hockey and soccer games; travelling with Dave and their friends on their motorcycle across Canada and the US; enjoying dinners with their Gourmet Group; cheering on the London Knights and trying to keep the squirrels out of her bird feeders. Her antics will be missed. 

Cremation has taken place with a Celebration of Life to be held Saturday July 15, 2023 , from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, at the St Mary’s Golf and Country Club.  Memorial Donations can be made directly to the St. Mary’s Healthcare Foundation, Woodstock Hospital and Sakura House Hospice.
