of last saw Barb in June when we went to our alumni lunch at the Old School House in Paris. We were graduated 55 years. Barb was so happy to see everyone and was glad she came along even though it was tiring for her. I will pass the word to our classmates and inform the alumni of Barb’s death. I will miss Barb, we had some great times together. My condolences to all. Jean Currier

  • Dear Keith, Scott, Dave, Mike and families, Gord, Larry and families,
So sorry to hear of Barb’s passing. We remember fondly the great times we shared at Hill family reunions, and visiting the Bert Hill family in Otterville. Uncle Bert and Dad were so much alike and very close brothers. Dad also enjoyed his friendship with Keith as they worked together for a few years and seemed to have a very similar sense of humour. Barb was such a kind and gentle soul. She will be missed so much by all of you! Her grandchildren were her pride and joy! Remember the good times! With love and sympathy, Pat and Terry Harrison, and Gary and Cathy Hill

  • Hearing of Barb’s passing was an in your face moment for me. My mind immediately went back to my earliest memories of a bunch of kids tumbling down the stairs of Otterville United Church on Sunday Mornings 10 a.m.. The Hills were one of those families of kids along with many more I would like to mention. But, then I might end up writing a book. Along with all the other families we went all thru Public & High School together. I remember the day Miss Scidmore made the boys take off their pants and sit in their underwear while their pants dried on the radiators. Gord Hill, Neil Davies, Henry Ash are vivid in my memory. It is at times like this (sad times) I have flash backs of what wonderful parents we had & what a great era we grew up in. Kieth & family. Gord, Larry & family. Cherish the good memories of which there are many I’m sure. Blessings John & Bonnie Hopkins 💞
