Margaret Ann Lazenby  (nee Hegarty) of St. Thomas, Ontario  1937-2017

With heavy hearts and great sadness we announce that surrounded by her family on Tuesday May 30, 2017 Margaret Ann Lazenby passed away peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, in her 80th year.  Margaret was born in Londonderry, Ireland on October 7, 1937 and she married the love of her life Gary on October 14, 1957.  Beloved wife of Gary Lazenby.  Loved Mother of Ken and Diane Lazenby of Aylmer, and Perry Lazenby of St. Thomas.  Grandmother of Ryan and Kristen Cook of Tavistock, and Krista and Jason Clifford of Kincardine.  Great Grandma of Carter, Nathaniel, Brianna, and Avery.  Dear sister of Henry (Dawn) Hegarty, Ken (Barbara) Hegarty, and Maureen all of Ireland, and sister in law of Edna Mae Anderson, and Ruth Lazenby.  Margaret was predeceased by her twin sister Norma Hughes (Harry), siblings Mabel McAlister (Dave), Derek Hegarty, and by her brother in law John Lazenby.  Remembered by her nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place.

Margaret’s family is very appreciative of Dr. Thivian Vandeyar for his professionalism and compassion for Margaret and her family, and also Carol and Janice for always being there to hold our hand and for providing tremendous support through this difficult time.
