Roseina F. Bugler (nee Snider)

Rose, in her 86th year, passed peacefully with her loving daughter Darlene ‘Shelley’ and son in law Steve at her side.  She is predeceased by her sons Wayne, Greg, and Kevin.  Rose leaves behind her daughter Darlene (Steve) Burrell and her sons Brian Bugler and Ted Bugler.  She will be missed by grandsons Michael Bugler and Benjamin Burrell, and granddaughter Terra Burrell.

My mother Rose was a kind-hearted soul.  She didn’t want for anything.  She always put other people’s needs before her own, was always worried about everybody else except herself, and never complained.

She treated everyone equal and was nonjudgmental; always loved company, with a cup of tea and a cookie in hand; always liked growing her own vegetables; loved knitting, playing euchre, and spending time in her flower beds.  Roses and lilies were her favourites.  Mom loved animals, especially her cat “Biko”.

Mom enjoyed time spent at the lake with her long-time companion Ted Oakley. Together they would go out fishing, and boating, up at Port Glasgow.  They always had a great time together. Mom loved spending time with her grandchildren Terra and Ben.  She was always interested in what was going on in their lives.

Rose didn’t have an easy life.  She raised seven kids on her own and she did the best she could with what she had.  She was always there for me, Darlene, and for her sons – and for that we are truly grateful.  Mom was the most strong- willed person I have ever known – and those who knew her would agree.  I am the person I am today because of my mother and best friend.  She will be truly missed and loved always.     May God bless.

In keeping with Rose’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Donations made in Rose’s memory to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation are appreciated.
