Mary Ann Warford

On Sunday October 16, 2016, Mary Ann Warford passed peacefully at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario, at the age of 76.  She is predeceased by her mother and father, Ella and George Warford, and by her daughter Debera Lockhart.  She was loved greatly and will be missed by her son Andrew Lockhart (Sarah), her sister Ruth Waring (Doug), brothers Lorne Warford (Mary) and Doug Warford (Janet), as well as her grandchildren Alex and Debera Lockhart.

Mary was a strong woman with a great deal of zest for life.  She had the opportunity to live all across Canada and spent a much loved year in Ireland.  She loved her time volunteering at St. Joseph’s Health Care in London, Ontario where she utilized her gift for gab.

She was creative and made many wonderful pieces of stained glass art that are cherished dearly by those who love her.

The family will be scattering Mary’s ashes in a private gathering Saturday October 22, 2016 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in London, Ontario.  This will be followed by a Celebration of Mary’s life at a local restaurant.  All who knew her are welcome to attend.  All those interested in joining the family for lunch and a toast to Mary are requested to let Andrew and Sarah know by Thursday, October 20, 2016 as space is limited.   Please email raiseaglasstomary@gmail.com

 An Irish Blessing

May the road rise up to meet you.

  may the wind be always at your back.

 may the sun shine warm upon your face;

  the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,

                                                         may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
